Experience Through Their Eyes

Food is great every time we eat at Pings. Prices and portions are very good. Service is always fantastic and we never have to ask for anything. The atmosphere is very friendly. It is surrounded by beautiful scenery and they also have someone singing. Great place for family dinner or a date night. Loved the strawberry shortcake. We will definitely be back again and again.

My husband was told about this place by a coworker and forgot about it until he saw a video on Facebook. We took along his sister and brother in law to try it out on a Friday night. It was a nice easy drive from where we live. The location is beautiful. A warm and inviting fireplace greeted us when we walked in and someone was playing a guitar and singing softly beside it. My husband ordered the French Dip and a side of onion rings, his sister and her husband ordered wings with sides of hand cut fries and onion rings. I was a little more adventurous and ordered the burger with pimento cheese, bacon, jalapeno and strawberry jelly... with a side of fried green beans. Everyone was very satisfied with their meal. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasty. All homemade sides not pre-packaged frozen stuff you get at most restaurants. My burger was the absolute best and I can't wait to have another. So many flavors... sweet, spicy and savory. You got to try it!! Our server was very attentive with our needs and checked on us frequently even though the dining room was full. We will definitely be going back- probably when warmer weather arrives so we can enjoy the views of the water on the patio.

Loved our evening here! Definitely adding it to our list of restaurants to frequent. Enjoyed a walk around the lake and some amazing food for supper. Waitress (owners daughter) and owners wife were so nice!

Saw this restaurant mentioned in Band of Brothers facebook page post. My husband was so excited to actually eat where those men were. We were going to go in the fall, which we still will, today was a rainy day let's do something. There's a walk way around the reservoir we couldn't do because of the rain though. There is a patio area weather permitting that is dog friendly. The food was delicious. We had fried pickles as appetizer and Philly sandwiches with homemade onion rings. I had chicken my husband had steak both were great! Our waitress was very friendly.

Had dinner here today. Food portions are large and the prices low. She had the chicken fried steak, and I had the salmon. My house salad was arugula and baby spinach. That surprised me. For dessert, we ordered a chocolate mousse cake and a raspberry lemon cake. Both are delicious. Amber was our server, and she was excellent.
